✦ Research Notes

Background & literature

Origin

A four-component supplier formulation combining GHK-Cu, the melanocortin-derived tripeptide KPV (the C-terminal 11–13 fragment of α-MSH), BPC-157 and TB-500. As with the other blends, this is a formulation rather than a molecule, and it has no independent discovery history.

What has been characterised

The four constituents are characterised separately, by four unrelated mechanisms: copper coordination (GHK-Cu), melanocortin-pathway signalling in keratinocyte and murine models (KPV), angiogenic and nitric-oxide signalling in rodent models (BPC-157), and G-actin sequestration in vitro (thymosin beta-4). No peer-reviewed work characterises the four together. None is FDA-approved for human use. See the individual entries for primary literature on each constituent.
